bohemia

i think i noe y the term 'bohemian' is derived from this part of the world. it just gives u that artistic vibe, that non conformist, free-loving feeling. i may just really like this place.

or it may just b my 2nd shot of absinth thus far.

but seriously, i've just had one of the best music at the absinth bar just now. it's a trio of 2 guitars and a accordian, playing wad's best described as 'bohemian' music. it was just so so cool. we were really hooked. it's a nice end to our visit to czech i suppose.

n so, i can't resist but grab another bottle of absinth. ugh. i think i'll come to regret it later on. n i still have so many bottles of tokaj n 'bull's blood' to get in hungary! plus i really fear abt customs.

anyway, we had toured the jewish quarter in prague in the morning. like all jews in europe during wwii, almost the entire jewish population was obliterated. it was a rather harrowing and emotional documentation of a cruel end to their community here.

the afternoon was spent in a more idyllic castle in the country (wad else?). i must say, our guide's really rather cute - in a strange sort of way. n he's only 23! omg ^^ seriously, the castle's got a 'star studded' ceiling in it's 'heavenly' chapel, and it was absolutely amazing. i was also very happy to just stand in the chapel and stare at the beautiful ceiling and icons for hours on end.

interestingly, we saw a woman taking nude pics in public. which was damn amusing. she's rather well bodied and rather pleasing to the eyes (n the haggle says she's got wonderful complexion), but i daren't stare for long *rolls eyes*
