anyway, highlights of these past 2 days including catching the ballet at the hungarian state opera house. it was a very good ballet set to shakespear's 'taming of the shrew' composed and choreography by hungarians, and produced by a hungarian company. i loved the costumes and props which were so colourful and innovative! the dancing and the music were good too, of course. and best of all, each ticket only cost us SGD8!
we went to 2 hungarian towns in the country over the past 2 days, and i thought both towns were rather lovely. there was a marzipan museum in one of them, and the marzipan figurines are the loveliest i've ever seen - so delicate and so exquisite! the haggle and i were so so thrilled and happy! haha.
i saw a 2 yo kid chasing pigeons at a quaint baroque square at the other town today, and we all found the kid so absolutely adorable! he was seriously so so so cute. i'm sure u'd feel like hugging him and kissing him all over too. alot of parents were bringing their little kids out there to have fun at the square, which in my opinion isn't really thta exciting. but the children were so happy!
apparently the town's some important mecca of school fieldtrips, and the place was crawling with school groups too.
the cutest scene i saw today, i think would b of this 2 teenage guys sitting on a bench in the square, and one of them was blowing bubbles from a bottle of soapy water. and it just seemed so innocent and so carefree. n it made quite a strong impression on me.
